At the launch held at the Imperial Royale Hotel, what is ed the Knight Frank Head of Retail Mr. Marc du Toit unveiled the mall development plans to a selection of business reporters and key retailers in Uganda.

Entebbe is home to Entebbe airport which is Uganda’s major gateway and is served by several African and international airlines.

The final results of the 2014 population census put Entebbe Municipality at a total of 70,219 people with a working population of 41,976 people.
Between 2002 and 2014, the population increased from 55,086 to 70,219 people. This gives an average annual growth rate of 2.3%.
At this rate of growth, the population of Entebbe municipality is projected to increase to 75,176 in 2017 and further to 80,484 in 2020. With such population growth by people of varying cultures the demand for formalized retail trade has been on the increase and this does not take into account the residential growth that will be seen subsequent to the opening of the Kampala – Entebbe Expressway in 2017.
All tourists entering Uganda by air pass through Entebbe International Airport. According to the Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS), tourist arrivals by air increased by 4.7% from 423,000 (2013) to 443,000 (2014) tourists at Entebbe International Airport.
Besides the above, the expansion and upgrading of Entebbe International Airport will also increase the flow of potential customers in and out of Entebbe given that the expansion of the airport is expected to increase passenger traffic by 7.5 percent annually for the next five years on account of a spike in business travels.
