In the men’s, KIU swept Titans 3-0, the same result St Joseph Institute registered over Stroke Woodball club.
The story was completely different for KIU in the ladies category whose team that includes Claire Tumusiime, Peace Mwambu, Rose Matovu and Daphine Kiconco lost sourly to Mary Athienk, Charity Nagaba, Angel Turinawe and Rachael Erima of Zoe Woodball club.
The Woodball League was a recommendation of the 8th UWbF Annual Congress held on January 30, 2016 where teams compete in Fairway Team events from which they will accumulate points for ranking.
Previously, players have been accumulating points from Beach and Corporate Woodball Circuits individually.
The games continue on Saturday 14th May.
