Kirinya Jinja SS have suspended 7 players

Amidst struggles to fend off relegation, here Uganda premier league side Kirinya Jinja SS have indefinitely suspended seven players on grounds of indiscipline.

Club media officer Paul Kulumba confirmed to this website that the club has taken the bold decision to suspend the players before the end of the season.

“It is true that the club has  suspended seven players on grounds of indiscipline, sildenafil ” he confirmed.

“But I want to disregard earlier reports indicating we had terminated their contracts. We have only put them away from the team for some time, sales ” clarified Kulumba.

The players suspended include striker Caesar Sapewo,Joel Madondo,Frederick Kigozi, Anthony Baize,Solomon Mbowa(goalkeeper), Jolly Joram Mukasa and Joseph Opolot.

Among the reasons fronted for the players’ dismissal include absconding from team training and loose talk.

It is also believed the suspended players had started fueling negative talk about the club and also having internal wrangles against fellow players.

Kirinya Jinja SS are still grounded in the relegation fight occupying second place from the bottom with just 17 points in 21 games and have just nine games to play for their safety.
