Kipsiro Wins the Great Scotland Run

2010 Commonwealth gold winner, ed visit this Moses Ndiema Kipsiro has today (Sunday) overcome over 25, 000 athletes to emerge champion of the 2015 Bank of Scotland Great Scottish Run.

Scotland’s Callum Hawkins came second while Kenya’s Japheth Korir closed the top three.

In the women’s race, Kenya took the first and second place through  Edna Kiplagat and Doris Changeiywo while Gemma Steel finished third.

The Great Scottish Summer Runs were open to all whether a seasoned runner, beginner or just want to run with friends and family.

However their were special prizes for 1st,  2nd and 3rd Male & Female runners.

The event was hosted at Holyrood Park Edinburgh in Glassgow  passing through some of the city’s best known landmarks,including the Clyde Arc and the Finnieston Crane.
