Kigezi Diocese’s Canon Twinamatsiko Dies

Reverend Canon Obed Turihohabwe the Diocesan Secretary says the news of the passing of Canon Twinamatsiko was received with shock at the Diocese.

He described the deceased as a unifying and instrumental figure at the diocese who will be dearly missed.

Twinamatsiko has been the head of laity for the diocese of Kigezi for the last seven years and was among the 15 Christians that were on 13th December 2015 canonized by the Bishop of the Diocese of Kigezi Rt. Rev. George Bagamuhunda at St. Peters Cathedral Rugarama for his exemplary leadership in the church.
