Kibuli Secondary School continue to be a household name in football and has been a bedrock of several players.
Despite failure to retain the school’s tournament this year, the hopes are high that they can go on and win the forthcoming East African Secondary Schools tournament in Gulu.
And in preparation for the tournament, the school tested their powers against Uganda Premier League side Soana Football Club.
Kibuli SS demolished Soana FC winning the game played on Wednesday in Kibuli 3-0.
Star player Allan Okello who also features for KCCA FC opened the scores as early as the 12th minute.
The crafty midfielder curled a perfect free kick that went passed Soana’s goalkeeper.
The school side went ahead to lead by halftime and were even rampant after recess with Mansour Ogwano and Joel Jagayambe scoring the other goals.
Soana are preparing ahead of the 2017/18 Uganda Premier League that gets underway next month. Last week, they had gym sessions before commencing training on the field this week.
On the other hand, Kibuli SS are getting ready for the East African Secondary School games slated for August 17-27 in Gulu District.
