Kibaale RDC Accused of ‘Giving Orders’ in New Kagadi District

The acting Resident District Commissioner (RDC) of the newly commissioned Kagadi District Moses Nuwagaba Entwiga is unhappy with what he calls continued intervention of Kibaale District RDC in the affairs of the new district.

Kadadi and Kakumiro were split from the greater Kibaale district and commenced operation at the start of this month.

Nuwagaba while peaking to Chimpreports explained that Kibaale was split because of it large size and also to extend services closer to the people. Kisembo recently appeared on a local radio station and gave out directions on how security should operate in the new Kagadi district.

Niwagaba expressed concern that an outsider was now purporting to run the new district which he said was unacceptable.

By law Kibaale RDC cannot be the RDC for Kagadi and Kakumiro yet the law says there shall be deputy RDC to take charge in the absence of the full RDC”, He  said.

Nuwagaba has been the Deputy DRC Kibaale District but since Kagadi District Commenced its work effective with the financial year 2016/2017 he took office of the RDC Kagadi District.
