“They (KCCA FC) have got a good team, sick fantastic players with a great manager whom I have worked with previously and I know what he can offer.” He added.

He sought for professional ranks in Qatar and Lebanon but when the deals failed, KCCA snapped him up.

“I’m not bothered about that, my focus is to make sure I help the club achieve its targets. Competition is good because it helps you to worker harder,” said the veteran striker.

Mike Mutebi, the KCCA head coach believes, Ssentongo will be a resourceful player to the club.

“He has proved beyond reasonable doubt that he is a good striker, scoring in double figures almost every single season and even on the national team. So if we have get a striker, the scarcity of goals that we have been experiencing at times will be minimized,” said Mutebi.
