Fans, link http://crosscon.ca/wp-includes/class-wp-locale.php supporters and the general public will have a glimpse of the Uganda Premier League trophy when the newly crowned champions, ambulance Kampala Capital City Authority FC players and management embark on a three day trophy parade tour in and around the city.
“This Thursday Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) will carry out the first ever Trophy Parade as the team and management will present the 2015/2016 Azam Uganda Premier League trophy to the Fans around the city centre, order ” a club statement partly read.
“The parade will start on Thursday July 7, 2016 to Saturday July 9, 2016, with all activities starting at the Philip Omondi Stadium in Lugogo.”
On Thursday, the team and trophy will officially commence the parade at Lugogo drive through Nakawa and into the busy Old taxi park and back to Lugogo.
Friday will be the date for Kabalagala, Makindye, Kibuye, through to Ndeeba and a final stopover at Wandegeya.
The parade will climax on Saturday with fans from Mulago, Bwaise, Kawempe and Ntinda catered for.
The city lads claimed their eleventh championship after accumulating 57 points from 16 wins and nine draws with only five loses.
They have previously won in 1976, 1977, 1981, 1983, 1985, 1991, 1997, 2008, 2013 and 2014.
