KCCA FC Nearing Saddam Juma Deal, Villa Tracking

Uganda Premier League leaders KCCA FC are closing on a deal with Express FC attacking midfielder Ibrahim Saddam Juma.

Sources close to the Lugogo giants disclosed that coach Mike Mutebi and his technical bench with the midfielder and are already in the latter stages of discussion.

“The club (KCCA FC) have been in talks with Saddam and the negotiations are moving smoothly, store ” a source told ChimpSport on condition of anonymity.

“There is about 20 million on the table. The club is only waiting for the transfer to open to proceed with the official process.”

ChimpSport contacted the club Chief Executive Officer, physician Mr. David Tamale who confirmed the reports but didn’t reveal further details.

“It’s true we are interested in the player but nothing official yet because it’s not yet transfer period.”

Media reports had earlier linked the midfielder with moves to Kenya Premier League champions Tusker FC and local league giants SC Villa.

Villa is said to have tabled about fifteen million shillings to sign the player.

Saddam joined Express FC at the beginning of the season after facing the axe at Vipers SC. He has so far scored three league goals against KCCA FC, SC Villa and Soana
