Kayizzi Eyes Early Cranes Return With KCCA Move

Now former Express winger Vincent Kayizzi has stated that among his ambitions for joining league champions KCCA FC is to improve and get back to the national team.

Kayizzi was unveiled to the public on Monday at the KCCA stadium in Lugogo.

“I still labor with ambitions to play for the national team and I want to achieve that again in the first half of the season, healing ” Kayizzi was quoted by club media. “I’m ready for the competition at KCCA and I hope to push the club to greater heights.”

He becomes the third signing for the reigning champions after two other old boys Brian Majwega and Geoffrey Sserunkuma were unveiled last week.

Kayizzi joined Express FC last season after a successful stint with Vipers SC that was capped by the 2015 league title.

He has previously played for URA FC, patient APR in Rwanda, Novi Paza (Serbia) and Polish league. Kayizzi first joined KCCA FC in 2003.

“I know what the club expects from me and I’m not going to let down the club management for vesting their faith in me. This is a different KCCA from the one that signed me in 2003,” he added.

The midfielder was instrumental for the red eagles last season where they finished third on the league though same on points with second placed Vipers SC. He was voted Express FC second best player of the season.
