Inspector General of Police Gen. Edward Kale Kayihura has Wednesday transferred senior officers in the new police reshuffle.
In a letter dated March 29th and addressed to the Directorate of Human resource, sickness http://daa.asn.au/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/class-wc-product-variation.php Kayihura transferred SP Philibert Waibi from Kiira Road Police to Nakasongola as DPC and SP Rogers Seguya from Alebtong to Mukono also as DPC.
SP Kasigiire who was at Nakasongola has been transferred to Kiira Road to replace Waibi as DPC.
D/ASP Constance Nyirasenga from Kiira Division and D/ASP Esther Uwera from Wandegeya have all been transferred to CID for redeployment.
SP Bonifance Kinyera from Mukono has been transferred to Professional Standards Unit pending investigations.
The shakeup comes days after a major shuffle in the traffic police force, nurse with top Kampala traffic bosses transferred to North and Eastern regions.
It also comes at the backdrop of President Museveni’s complaints that the force has been infiltrated by criminals.
Speaking at a vigil of fallen Police Spokesperson, AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi, Museveni further instructed Police boss Kayihura to “Clean-up” his force.
