The Inspector General of Police, pills http://civicgentledentalcare.com.au/wp-admin/includes/class-ftp-sockets.php Gen. Edward Kale Kayihura has Wednesday morning rushed to Makerere University to assess the situation at the institution as police evicts students from campus premises.
This comes hours after President Museveni ordered the indefinite closure of the institution on Tuesday evening following a violent strike by the students which left university property vandalised.
The president said that the closure was to guarantee safety of people and property.
“I…decided to close Makerere University with immediate effect until further notice, approved http://chambersfurniture.com/wp-admin/includes/class-plugin-installer-skin.php in order to guarantee safety of persons and property, information pills ” Museveni wrote in a statement released Tuesday evening.
According to our reporter, Kenneth Kazibwe who is on ground in Makerere, the University Chief Security Officer, Jackson Mucunguzi has given students only 30 minutes to vacate university premises.
Military Police has cracked whip on students who were adamant to leave halls of residence although the situation is currently calm with sights of students with their luggage on the compound.
Anti-Riot Police continues to deploy all over the university, with heavy deployment at the entry gates. No student is allowed to enter the university.
Kayihura, among other things is expected to meet the university management and to address a press conference hinting specifically on security plan.
