Police Special Operations boss Nickson Agasirwe has been fired in new reshuffle, Chimp Corps report.

The information was passed in an April 21st statement by Assistant Inspector General of Police Moses Balimwoyo to all Police Units.

Agasirwe has been under scrutiny after appearing in many reports including some by Human Rights Watch for alleged involvement in violent crime.

Chimp Investigations Team earlier this week broke the news that Kayihura would transfer suspected rogue officers; pointing at Agasirwe as one of the officers who would be redeployed.

He has since been sent to Human Resource Department pending deployment.

In the Friday reshuffle, a number of other officers who were passed earlier this month by IGP Kayihura at Bwebajja have also been transferred and deployed in different offices.

Agasirwe who attended the same 6-months course was awarded the prize for emerging the best student.

Among other officers transferred include; Ladovick Awita, from CJSO Entebbe Airport to Police VIPPU as a commandant. He was replaced by former operations commander for Kampala Metropolitan Area, James Ruhweza Akiiki.

Head of Operations Christopher Barugahare has been transferred to Wamala as RPC. He is replaced by Godfrey Maate from Kiira Division.

Full List of Transfers.
