The National Resistance Movement (NRM) has adjourned its primary elections slated for Sept. 25 over what a top official called “unforeseen circumstances.”

Officials have refused to explain in detail the unanticipated challenges that could have caused the postponement.

The Independence day main celebrations will be at Kaunda grounds under the theme, “Striving towards a prosperous people and country; The true meaning of independence.”
According to Officials from Uganda Media Center, President Museveni will be the main Celebrant.
Special Guests from abroad are also expected to grace the occasion.
ChimpReports has learnt that hundreds of Bulls will be slaughtered for the celebrations.
The president who invited Ugandans to come and celebrate 53 years of Independence, has directed that all who will attend, will eat to their satisfaction.
Fifty guard groups of Uganda People Defence Force (UPDF), Police,and Prisons are set to participate at the ceremony.
“They will be beginning rehearsals on Oct 4, 2015,” a media Center official revealed.
Kaunda grounds have hosted most of the major functions in Gulu District including the Pope’s Visit in the region in 1993.
