Busoga King Ndipoe Gabula is missing on the list of new appointees to be vetted by Parliament today
Former Chief of Defense Forces Gen Edward Katumba Wamala is this morning expected to appear before Parliament’s Appointments Committee to be vetted as State Minister for Works.
Wamala was last month replaced by Gen David Muhoozi as CDF and appointed junior works minister.
The Parliament vetting committee will also vet newly appointed ambassadors among them former defense Minister, http://compspoultry.com.au/wp-includes/class-wp-customize-control.php Crispus Kiyonga who was posted to Beijing-China replacing Charles Wagidoso, http://chulucanasnoticias.com/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-site-icon.php and the former coordinator of Intelligence Brig Ronnie Balya who was posted to Juba.
However, Chimpreports understands that the Kyabazinga William Gabula who was appointed Ambassador In Charge Of Special Duties In The Office Of The President is missing on the list despite Museveni’s defense on his appointment.
The Director, Communication and Public Affairs, Chris Obore confirmed that Kyabazinga’s name was not among those appearing before the committee for unclear reasons.
“I’m not sure why his name doesn’t appear on the list of those to be vetted tomorrow; I am not sure whether it could be due to contradictory views over his appointment from the public,” Obore said.
