Zesco United moved top of the Zambia Premier League table with a comfortable victory against Nakamba Leopards.
A goal in either half from Jesse Jackson Were and Mtonga Kondwana ensured Zesco United got maximum points in the game played on Saturday at Levy Mwanawasa stadium.
Ugandan striker David Kasirye started the game and played for 54 minutes before he was later withdrawn for Kalego.
This was the second game for the lanky forward. His debut was a week ago against Lumwana Radiants.
The Zelacticos opened the scores through Kenyan international Jesse Were as early as the 8th minute.
The striker was fouled inside the box and he stepped up to convert the resultant penalty.
Mtonga Kondwani doubled the scores for Zesco in the second half heading home Kapumbu’s corner.
The result moved Zesco United to the top of table on 38 points displacing NAPS United.
