Uganda’s Davis Kasirye will be in line to make his debut at Zesco United as they take on Lumwana Radiants.
Striker Davis Kasirye was officially unveiled at Zambian giants Zesco United on Monday August 1 after completing a move from Motema Pembe(DR Congo).
The lanky forward was included in the squad that made the trip to Solwezi in the North Western province to play against Lumwana Radiants.
Kasirye formerly featured for BUL FC and Express FC in Uganda before moving to Rayon Sport in Rwanda.
At Rayon Sport he put up a great display especially last year helping the team win the Rwanda Peace Cup and finish second in the league scoring 13 goals.
He completed a $90,000 move to DR Congo’s Motema Pembe in June last year where he played last season.
The Zegalacticos sit fourth on the table with 32 points but have played 4 games less than current league leaders NAPSA stars.
Zesco’s last league game was on Sunday and they won 1-0 away to Konkola Blades.
Lumwana Radiants on the other hand, occupy 7th position on 30 points.
The other new recruits at Zesco United include; Jean Claude Iranzi from MFK in Slovakia, Enock Sabumukwama (goalkeeper) and Dieudonne Ntibahezwa (attacking midfielder) both from Le Messenger de Ngozi in Burundi.
