The fast rising club from Kamuli district in Busoga region lost 1-0 in the Eastern regional finals to Kataka FC from Mbale in mid-June.
The club was not comfortable playing another season in the third tier and embarked on a mission to identify easier ways of getting to the Fufa Big league.
“The club will play in the Fufa big league next season after agreeing and sealing a deal to buy off Artland Katale,” a close source revealed to ChimpSport.
“About seven million shillings was paid on Thursday and everything was sealed off. The club will honor league matches in Kamuli.”
Earlier reports had linked Kamuli Park to cash strapped relegated side SC Victoria.
A similar situation has occurred in the country’s top flight where relegated army side Simba FC bought off the Saints FC.
Artland Katale finished sixth in the Elgon group of 2015/16 Big league season with 31 points after 23 games. They hosted games at the Mashariki grounds in Entebbe.
