Kadaga: Boda Bodas are a Threat to Road Safety

The Speaker of Parliament Rt. Hon. Rebecca Kadaga, cialis 40mg has said there is need to regulate the use of commercial motorcycles commonly known as BodaBodas along major highways.

This, she said during her visit to Nakaseke District Woman Member of Parliament, Hon. Rose Namayanja at Nakasero Hospital on Thursday.

The speaker said untrained riders have become a threat to the lives of many road users.

“We need to regulate the operations of boda – boda riders. They have been given too much freedom yet their operations have resulted into the loss of their lives and many other road users have also fallen victim,” she told journalists.

The NRM Treasurer was involved in a nasty accident on the Kampala –Gulu Highway on Tuesday this week.

Hon Namayanya said she was on the phone, when an approaching Elf canter loaded with stones rammed into their Toyota V8 as the driver tried to avoid a bodaboda cyclist.
