Kabale Student Murders Grandfather

A 20 year old secondary school student in Kabale is being detained at Kabale central police station over killing his 80 years ago grandfather.

Elly Maate the Kigezi regional spokesman identified the suspect as Peter Rukundo a student of Kigata High School, generic http://celiac-disease.com/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/json-endpoints/class.wpcom-json-api-site-settings-v1-2-endpoint.php who is alleged to have murdered his grandfather Daniel Munanura of Rushambya village, stuff Kyanamira Sub County with a club.

Maate says that on the 3rd July 2016 at around 8 Pm while he returned from a drinking joint, treat the deceased was waylaid by the suspect and hit thrice on the head, killing him instantly.

The murder is believed to have been a result of a disagreement over Munanura’s late son’s land which he intended to repossess.

“Such disagreements should be resolved amicably or by involving the authorities but not taking the law into one’s hands,” said Maate.

The case is registered under CRB 1877/2016  at Kabale central police  station.
