Three police officers are admitted in Rugarama Hospital after they were injured during a scuffle that ensued during an operation to arrest a suspect.

In a scuffle that followed, the suspect speared AIP Muhumuza in the right thigh as they struggled to disarm him. Another officer Gadi was accidentally shot in the shoulder while Chris Mwesigye was injured in the foot by a stray bullet.
Maate says that the suspect was later on apprehended and the injured are nursing wounds at Rugarama Hospital but in stable condition.
