Kabale: Besigye, Lukwago Miss Court Hearing

Kizza Besigye, http://copiproperties.com/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/modules/sharedaddy.php Erias Lukwago, Ingrid Turinawe and Mubarak Munyagwa, members of the opposition parties are accused of inciting Violence in Kabale town on 14thJuly 2012 during the 4GC rally that ended in battles between Uganda Police and the locals.

The outcome of the chaos caused at Kabale Municipal Stadium during the rally was the injuring of four police officers and damaging of three police vehicles

Batson Baguma the Kabale state attorney asked court to issue a warrant of arrest for these leaders for missing the hearing.

However  Jonathan Bwagi, Besigye’s Lawyer explained that his client had traveled out of the country for Medical checkup.

Besides Imam Makumbi, the Western Uganda DP Vice President and Roland Kaginda Mugume the Rukungiri Municipality MP that appeared before court, Kawempe Mayor Mubarak Munyagwa and the western Uganda DP Vice President Imam Makumbi,  were also a no show.

The hearing that was supposed to commence on 23rd April 2015 but dint take place then will now be on 12th August 2015.
