Police in Kabale are holding in custody a 27 year old Coca-Cola depot manager, sildenafil Kabale Branch over theft of 32million shillings.

The suspect Ronah Habenawe who hails from Kyamuhunga in Bushenyi district, approved has been working as the manager of APJUS Coca-cola depot in Kigongi, Kabale Municipality.

Elly Maate, the Kigezi Regional Police Spokesperson, say that Habenawe was arrested when she failed to account for Ugshs.32Million which the company lost between January-May, 2017.

“She was asked to account for this money which she couldn’t and when her boss came to police over the issue we arrested her to help in investigations,” said Maate.

According to Apollo Mujuni, the depot director, Habenawe has been in charge of receiving stock and monitoring all the sales and the primary suspect in the disappearance of the money.

However, Habenawe denies misusing that money saying that it resulted out of the accrued shortages the company experienced during that season.

“I would realize these shortages but fear to tell my boss until he asked me about it,” said Habenawe.
