Defending Champions KCCA FC continued to show their superiority with a dominating 3-1 victory against Kirinya Jinja SS in a pre-season friendly played on Friday at StarTimes stadium in Lugogo.

Saddam Juma doubled their lead from the spot as Mike Mutebi’s side took a 2-goal cushion at halftime.

Kirinya who used a complete team back in the second half looked a better side after the break with some exploitative counter-attacks but they looked lacking in the final third.

KCCA FC’s Allan Oryiek got the third goal for the team with a powerful shot but minutes later, Oryiek was at the receiving end as he brought down James Otim the area for the referee to point at the spot.

Bashir Mutanda got the consolation for the Jinja based side as the game ended 3-1.

“We need to work more on our ball retention and also improve on the way we play in the final third.” Said Nelson Magera, KCCA FC’s assistant Coach.
