Uganda Cranes defender Murushid Jjuko played his first trial game at Orlando Pirates on Sunday.
The centreback who is on trials with Premier Soccer League giants Orlando Pirates, made his first appearance for the side in a friendly game against Platinum Stars.
The game also served as Milutin “Micho” Sredojevic’s first game at the club since his return to the Buccaneers last week.
Orlando Pirates put up a great display to cruise to a comfortable 6-1 victory over the Dikwenas.
A brace from Abbubaker Mubara and a goal apiece by Thamsanqa Gabuza, Happy Jele, Ayanda Nkosi and Mpho Makola ensured Micho got a perfect start on his second stint.
Jjuko landed in South Africa last week and is still at the Soweto based side for trials before consideration for a permanent move.
If all goes well, the former Vipers and SC Victoria University defender will follow the footsteps of Yasser Mugerwa who played for Orlando Pirates during the 2015/16 season.
Pirates will kick start their Absa Premiership campaign against Chippa United at Orlando stadium on 19th August.
