The Uganda Premier League secretariat has cracked whip on Jinja Municipal Hippos due to their fans’ violent conduct during their one all draw against Vipers SC at Kakindu.

AUPL notes that the fans action caused the match to stop for three minutes while the fourth official was stoned and the team manager Matovu Abdullah also threw a water bottle to the referee.

The club has also been warned of drastic actions in case their fans persist with the canning behaviour. Team manager Matovu is also serving a two match ban.
