Jamal, Batambuze in as Micho Releases Squad for Tunisia Friendly

Salim Jamal has been selected to start for Uganda Cranes ahead of Benjamin Ochan in the friendly build up match against Tunisia on Wednesday afternoon at the El Menzha Olympic stadium.

Tusker FC left back Shafiq Batambuze will man the wing while Joseph Ochaya watches from the stands.

Denis Iguma will run business in the right wing as Hassan Waswa and Isinde provide shield for Salim.

Geoffrey ‘Baba’ Kizito returns to the team’s starting lineup and will partner with Mawejje and Mike Azira at the heart of the midfield.

Team skipper Geoffrey Massa leads the attack together with Ilves striker Yunus Ssentamu and Proline FC’s Edrisa Lubega.

Head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ is expected to trim the squad to the final 23 to be submitted to Caf.
