Brian Bagyenda(L) together with co-accused being taken to court.

Nakawa Grade One magistrate Noah Sajjabbi has committed Brian Bagyenda, son to head of Internal Security Organization (ISO) Col. Frank Bagyenda to High Court to face trial for alleged murder of his fiancé Enid Twijukye who he suspected to be cheating.

Bagyenda together with Innocent Bainomugisha and Innocent Rwahwire were today committed after the State Prosecutor Joyce Anyango revealed that investigations in the matter were complete.

The suspects were arrested and charged with murder after the decomposing body of Twijukye was discovered in Namanve.

Bagyenda, a pharmacist, alongside two others were on February this year charged with murder and were not allowed to take plea since the matter is grave and can only be heard by high court.

Bagyenda had confessed to the crime, telling police that they dumped the body in the bushes. Also, phone printouts confirmed that he was the last person to talk to the deceased.

These were remanded back to Luzira Prison until High Court lists them in the next criminal session.
