Soana football club has appointed former Kirinya Jinja SSS FC coach Alex Isabirye to take over the managerial job at the club after George William Lutaalo was sacked.
Efforts to contact the coach or management were futile but ChimpSport can reliably report that the coach was introduced to the players on Tuesday morning.
Club management wielded the axe on Lutaalo barely two months into his term. Lutaalo had only managed three league games where he picked two draws and a loss.
The club was eliminated from the 2017 Uganda Cup from the round of 32 after losing to Vipers SC in Kavumba on Sunday.
Isabirye joins the club immediately and his first duty will be against his former club URA FC on Friday 10th in Lugazi.
He becomes the fourth coach at the club this season after Ayiekoh and Ssimbwa left in the first leg.
Soana is currently sixth in the league with 25 points.
