It is understood that SFC officials today visited the Central Police Station seeking details on what transpired last night.

The presidential guard was informed that police were engaging a “suspected robber who was trying to break into one of the shops near Shell Fuel station.”

Police publicist, page Fred Enanga said he was yet to get a full briefing on the incident.

The shooting came just a day after Police boss Gen Kale Kayihura issued a statement, warning of plans by “a criminally-minded group to cause chaos in Kampala on Saturday.”
