Uganda Name MX Team
The Uganda Motor Cross on Wednesday named a 44-man team which is going to represent the country in the FIM-AIM motor cross event to be hosted here.
Announced at Busika, the team will compromise young and old riders.
It will be led by veteran Arthur Blick.
After the announcement, the team started preparations under a German trainer Jurgen Kuppers who will take them through drills until Sunday.
“We have selected the team partly basing on their performance at the last race at Garuga, their national standings and above all their discipline in general,” said Blick.
He added the team selected is strong enough to revive the Ugandan glory in the upcoming event, with more skills that have been equipped to the team by the German trainer.
The team 50cc class
Fatune Sentamu, Ben Nsumba, Josha Mwangala, Ward Omar, Stavc Orland.
Alister Blick, Ali Omar, Aviv, Wazri Omar and paddy Blick
Fatu Kiguddu, Harm Kamstra,Aman
Yanik Dyke, Olivia Van pee, Yuni Bakunda,Michael Sekumboba and John Glazer.
Maxim Van Pee, Arthur Blick, Assaf Natan, Barack Orland and Jack Evans.
Meanwhile, a number of countries have confirmed their participation. They are Zimbabwe(16), Zambia(8), and 27 from Kenya while 44 more riders are still expected from power house South Africa, Tunisia and Morocco.
