Mugabe To Miss Castle Lite Uganda Tennis Open
Defending champion Duncan Mugabe will not participate in the Castle Lite Uganda Tennis Open scheduled for June 2-9 at Luggogo.
Uganda Lawn Tennis Association chairman Cedric Babu said Duncan is on a training programme in San-Francisco, California ahead of summer Olympics
Castle Lite together with Rwenzori Beverages have sunk Shs35m as prize money.
The cash is up for grabs at various stages of the tournament starting with quarter-finals.
Participants from Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya, Tanzania, Zimbabwe are expected.
The likes of Kenyan veteran Alan Cooper, Francis Thuku, Rogoi Gilbert, Kibet, Rwanda's Jean Gasigwa and Uganda's Honored David Oringo, Henry Mayanja, Robert Buyinza will participate.
