EXCLUSIVE: Military Intelligence Search FDC Boss’ House For Weapons Again
At least 17 agents from the Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence (CMI) on Sunday morning spent over five hours searching the house of a top FDC shot in Luzira, a Kampala suburb, it has emerged.
Michael Kabaziguruka’s house sits on almost an acre of land in Luzira.
This is where FDC President Col. Kizza Besigye and wife Winnie Byanyima resided for quite a good number of years before shifting to Kasangati after the 2001 presidential elections.
Kabaziguruka was arrested last week in a wide investigation into the formation of a new rebel group operating in western Uganda.
Impeccable sources say Kabaziguruka has been taken to so many places in the country to help the military with information regarding the arrested suspected rebels.
Chimpreports has been reliably informed that at the Luzira house, the military was reportedly searching for documents and weapons. This is the second time the vast house is being inspected.
The FDC has been silent over the matter.
The party spokesperson Wafula Oguttu was not available for comment.
