Bidandi Still In Intensive Care, Mukula's Mother Hit By Stroke
Veteran politician and Peoples Progressive Party President Jaberi Bidandi Ssali is now responding to treatment at IHK Hospital in Namuwongo, a Kampala suburb.
He was, however, still in the intensive care unit of the medical facility.
The old man is said to have fainted at one of his residences in Kampala before slipping into partial coma on Tuesday night.
A close relative who didn’t want to be named said: “Mzee is out of coma and is currently talking.”
“We don’t know the cause of his illness. It was just sudden,” a relative told our Corp Yvonne Turahirirwe.
Bidandi has in the past had problems with his health and at one time was forced to wear a neck support.
Meanwhile, NRM Vice chairman Eastern Uganda Mike Mukula’s mother is also bed-ridden at the same medical facility after being hit by a stroke.
