RED MONDAY: 3 Cops Die In Fatal Entebbe Accident
News coming in indicate that three policemen have died in a very fatal road accident Monday when a patrol truck they were traveling in collided with a heavy vehicle.

Police authorities say the blood-spattered incident, in which several others were injured, occurred at Kitubulu on the shores of Lake Victoria, Entebbe Road when police was rushing a mob justice victim to hospital.
Kampala Metropolitan Police publicist Ibin Ssenkumbi says the ill-fated truck, registration number UP 1295 was damaged beyond repair. However, its driver is on the run.
Ssenkumbi identified the deceased as Geoffrey Bogere, Julius Bazalwe and Fred Bakwasize. The fourth, a one Kirama, lost his life at Entebbe grade B due to excess bleeding.
Eyewitnesses told Chimpreports.com that good Samaritans used axes to pluck out the cops’ bodies from the wreckage.
Flesh was strewn everywhere and blood flowed steadily on the tarmac, marking a Red Monday for the police fraternity.
Ssenkumbi says cops had travelled to Lwamutumba, near Nkumba University, to rescue a suspected thief who was being thumped by a mob. The suspect also died in the accident.
Police is yet to hold suspects.
