One of the survivors Emmy Tuhurikirize told Chimp Corps that they were travelling from Nakawa market to Kampala city when the motorcycle was smashed by the AU truck at a corner just next to the Kampala Rugby Grounds.

Police trucks later took the bodies to Mulago Referral Hospital for postmortem.

The victims’ brains were shattered as blood steadily flowed on the tarmac.
