Queen of England Could Visit Uganda Again
The Government of Uganda is secretly wooing the Queen of England for this year's Golden Jubilee celebrations, Chimpreports.com reveals.
A source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs says President Yoweri Museveni has on several occasions contacted Queen Elizabeth Alexandra Mary II to come to Uganda for the 2012 celebrations aimed at marking 50 years since Uganda got independence from British colonialists.
We are not sure whether the Queen has given a nod to the invite.
The Queen last visited Uganda during the Common Wealth meeting in Kampala in 2007.
Her return to Uganda would attract unprecedented international media attention thus boosting the country’s tourism sector.
Detailed report coming Monday.
