Cindy’s Amateka Concert On Tonite

The glamorous “Ayokya Yokya” hit star has of late been holding rehearsals ahead of the launch of “Amateka” the hottest song that is rocking the country’s airwaves.
During the launch, Cindy is expected to showcase her extraordinary dance strokes and thrilling singing abilities that have earned her significant presence and overwhelming attention on Uganda’s music scene.
She will perform alongside her former Blu3 colleagues Jackie Chandiru of “Gold Digger” fame and Lilian Mbabazi. Radio and Weasel and Aziz Azion will be in the house to electrify the audience.
Basically, this will be the superstar’s first music concert ever since the split of Blu3 a few years ago.
“It’s going to be so spectacular; expect fire in the house,” Cindy told Chimp Corps.
Armed with a state of the art intelligent lighting, big screens, sound, special effects and boneless backup dancers, Cindy is optimistic revelers will get a memorable experience.
For a paltry Shs10, 000 (ordinary ticket) or Shs30, 000 (VIP wing), fans will party with their darling – Cindy - from 7pm till late.
The silk-voiced singer has promised a fully action-packed and energetic performance during which she will interact with fans to enable them appreciate her moving story behind

Rapper To Unveil New Track

''The freshly unleashed Kampala Rapper is going to take the City by storm this year, 4-GB is definitely a Rap force to reckon with,'' says his Manager Jay Otim.
We are told 4-GB is currently working on his first Album called the FR33DOM which includes tracks like Step on them, Thugging, Kampala city night life, Boom, and now lets get Dirty among others. This album features a guest list of mainstream Ugandan artists like Vampino of Swangez Avenue, Cindy who is to launch her ‘Mateeka’ album tonight, Atlas, Sheebah, gospel sensation Exodus and some other United States based rap artists we are yet to discover.
Word on the street is that 4-GB is one of the fast growing rap artists this year as seen from the live radio on Radio City, Hot 100 and Sanyu fm while Television interviews include Urban Television, Record Television and NTV’s Xpozed hosted by MC Kats. The rapper has also featured at with high end and VIP fashion shows most notably Designer Kim Swagga’s recent ‘Konvicted to fashion’ at Guvnor.

Ragga Dee’s Unplugged Tonight At Club Silk

Ragga Dee who started his singing career in the 1990s releasing songs like “Oyagala Cash “and “Mbawe” which won him a Pam Award in the Ragga category has of recent been in trouble with Mampi of Zambia over a song Swililili which he changed and named Sweetititi.
The Zambian singer who will be in the country on Valentine’s Day threatened to sue him. Since at the event singers get to interact with the Audience, Ragga Dee he is expected to address this issue. Lets not forget that Mampi represented Zambia in last year’s Big Brother Star Game last year.

US Based Ugandan Teams Up With Hollywood

Solomon says that he will work with the Hollywood companies on different projects. Some of the other projects he has done with them include ‘Galiwango’ the Movie about the Life of Gorillas where singers like Cindy and Jackie Chandiru took part.
On the partnership in Uganda he said that Fenon Studios is playing a very big part in the voice acting for Kids. Same guy has also directed Maurice Kiirya’s Musubawa music video

Singer Chameleone Finally Shoots Badilisha Video

The singer and his Leone Island Crew assembled at Café Cheri in Kabalagala where they had breakfast and a brief about the events that were to unfold at different locations before they set off for the shooting of the hyped Video.
Chameleone recently relocated from his Seguku home to an unknown destination after neighbors vowed to beat him up over his alleged involment in the death of one the Robert Karamagi even though investigations are still going on .At the shooting Chameleone changed into several outfits and later hosted the crew to a night of food,drink and dancing till the wee hours of the morning.
An intimated to us that the singer spent close to 50m shillings on the Badilisha video

Cayenne To Officially Reopen Today

The rendezvous which silently opened its doors yesterday Monday and known to be frequented by expatriates and the corporate class in Kampala is said to have failed to comply with a KCCA warning over its disposal of fritter away which forced them to finally shut it down.
Our efforts to contact the top management of the eatery were futile.
However we managed to talk to singer Cindy who is affiliated to the establishment and she told us that it was closed for renovation and denied that the fact that it was ever closed by KCCA.
But when we pressed her further she said that she was going to consult its top management confirming that it would be officially reopened tomorrow with lots fan fare.

Bad Black Now Sought By Interpol

Bad Black who was granted bail last year to go and have corrective surgery over a breast job gone bad, had her bail appeal on her conviction over turned after she failed to report to the same court.
Bad Black whose place of abode is currently unknown is rumored to now be hiding in either Dubai or Japan. But now she will have to complete her four year jail term on arrest without any chance of bail ever again.

MYA Set For Kombat Dancers Reunion
