Miss Uganda Franchise On Sale
All is not so well at Kezzi Entertainment, the Kampala-based group managed by Brenda Nanyonjo.
The organization also runs the Miss Uganda franchise.
Our corps have heard the group has lately been considering selling off the franchise due to what a source termed as “total failure to make tangible profits.”
Sources say the group never made a single coin as profit during the recently-concluded Miss Uganda pageant in Kampala where Phiona Bizzu emerged winner.
In the past, personalities like Sylvia Owori, Solaya Zalwango and Joyce Church have successful run the venture and made colossal large sums of money in sponsorships.
However, we now hear that one of the people who are interested in buying it off includes South African based fashion designer Stella Nankya of Star QT, a label in Jacob Zuma’s land.
