Police Issue Warning As Kids Prepare For Holidays
Police has Monday warned parents to watch their children as the schools start closing for holidays.
Speaking at the press conference today, the police spokesman Kampala metropolitan Idi Ibin Ssenkumbi advised parents not to let their children hang out with what they may suspect as bad groups.
He said parents should also guard against reckless movements with criminals, to avoid using condemned drugs, going to late night clubs and drinking alcohol.
In relation to this, police notifies that cases of child disappearance have gone down, but warns that the crime has not disappeared.
So police still urges people to always contact or report anyone they suspect to be involved in child abuse crimes.
All primary and secondary schools start holidays on August 3 till September 3.
