Hell broke loose when the sound system failed to function properly due to inadequate power supply thus producing low quality music.

The incident angered over 35,000 revelers who had gathered at Bukenya Foundation Gardens, expecting a thrilling performance from Chameleone.

Matters were worsened when Chameleone fell short of honouring his promise to perform at the function.

Enraged revelers hurled bottles at organizers, destroyed chairs and tables as girls scampered for safety, fearing the possibility of being sexually abused. One of the girls at the show broke her leg as she leapt over the wall fence in fear of being injured in the violence.

The head of security at the event Dixon Okello has confirmed the startling news, saying “I have never seen such violence ever in my lifetime.”

Police swiftly swung into action thus firing live bullets in the air to reign in on the rampaging youthful revelers.

The music lovers, who had parted with their hard-earned Shs5,000, claimed this was the third time Chameleone was duping them.

They engaged police in running battles throughout the entire night.  Calm was restored in the wee hours of Monday.

This is not the first time music concerts are turning bloody. Revelers nearly lynched Bebe Cool during the December 31 2011 concert in Munyonyo after one of the international singers dodged the event.
