Police Football Club chairman AIGP Asan Kasingye has revealed that former coach Sam Timbe did not actually resign from the club but was axed due to poor performance.
Timbe released a letter on Saturday claiming that he handed in his resignation after discovering that the club players’ undeserving low morale and continued poor results on the pitch was attached to his presence and particularly a contract he renewed recently at the club. But Kasingye confirms otherwise.
“He (Timbe) didn’t resign but I actually sacked him, sickness http://chat.novaintermed.ro/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/json-endpoints/class.wpcom-json-api-site-settings-endpoint.php ” Kasingye revealed to ChimpSport. “I had given him three games in which he had to win two and draw the other.”
Sam Timbe was supposed to get seven points from three games against giants URA FC, Express FC and table leaders KCCA FC.
The soft spoken coach managed a three all draw which meant he had to get outright victories over KCCA FC and URA. He lost 2-0 to the former and therefore no way he could meet the set ultimatum.
“When you put in resignation and your boss doesn’t say anything, it means it was good riddance,” Kasingye added.
Police picked a barren outcome from Lugazi on Tuesday against URA FC and they host Kirinya Jinja SSS FC on Saturday in their next game.
