Huawei, MTN Business Host CEO Golf Day

MTN Uganda in partnership with Huawei on Saturday September 17th, visit http://codapostproduction.com/wp/wp-includes/feed.php hosted a one-day Executive Golf tournament at the lush Lake Victoria, http://clovellysurfclub.com.au/wp-content/plugins/wp-e-commerce/wpsc-components/theme-engine-v1/templates/wpsc-products_page.php Serena Golf Resort & Spa.

Led by the MTN, http://comefare.com/wp-includes/wp-db.php Huawei and a cross section of corporate CEOs, the tournament, fielded teams of MTN Business and Huawei customers and staff from both companies as well as golfers from various corporate entities in Uganda.

In addition to trophies, winners will also get various prizes including a Hisense Smart 4K 50-inch TV, Huawei B315 LTE Indoor CPE routers, Huawei Mate 8 and P8 smartphones, Huawei Media Pad 10 and MTN’s 10-user LTE MiFis bundled with MTN data.

In what will be a Stableford mode of play, the one-day tournament overall winner will also enjoy a weekend for two and a round of golf at The Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort & Spa. There will be 12 winners in total.

Over the years, MTN Uganda has continuously supported the game of golf offering both platforms to grow the sport and opportunities for professional networking for the largely corporate individuals that play the game.

This year’s executive Golf Day will feature a demonstration of the latest MTN Enterprise solutions including the MTN 4G LTE broadband Internet.

“MTN Uganda is proud of the relationship that has been cultivated with the business community over the years, and we’re looking forward to turn and consolidate these opportunities into mutually beneficial partnerships,” said MTN Uganda’s Chief Executive Officer, Wim Vanhelleputte.

“We’ll continue being leading fans of golf in Uganda and we wish the golfers playing today and the fraternity continued success in every aspect,” he added.

Huawei Uganda’s Managing Director, Stanley Chyn expressed delight at the long-standing business co-operation between the two companies that has enabled MTN Uganda build and support a lot of the solutions offered to corporate business.

“The golf tournament is intended to commemorate the great business co-operation and strategic partnership between Huawei and MTN Uganda that has existed since 2003; this partnership has ensured MTN Uganda continues to lead  in the provision of world class voice and data services in Uganda. Huawei has through years supported MTN launch game changing technologies like  3G in 2010,4G LTE in 2013 and countrywide spread in 2015 plus devices like the Huawei 4G LTE smartphone,” said Mr. Stanley Chyn the Managing Director of Huawei Uganda.
