‘Hosted Buyers’ Awed By Uganda’s Tourism Potential

The Hosted Buyers for this year’s Pearl of Africa tourism expo (POATE2017) have Saturday endorsed the potential in the tourism sector of Uganda and the natural beauty it possesses.

The hosted buyers are a group of travel agents, visit this site travel bloggers, decease journalists who hosted by Uganda Tourism Board.

These flew in from different countries to witness Uganda’s natural beauty and tourism resources and sell it to their audiences back home.

One Effi Shuv from Israel, founder of Advanced Disciplined Intelligence on Saturday after Gorilla tracking in Bwindi impenetrable forest was overwhelmed by what Uganda has to offers and said he would recommend visiting the country.

“No wonder Uganda is referred to as the Pearl of Africa. I have been to all East African Countries and many parts of the world but l had never seen such beauty it’s such an extraordinarily experience I must say” he said

Speaking to Chimpreports at Ruhija Gorilla Lodge, Effi thanked UTB for giving him a memorable experience that he will share with his colleagues back home and also promised to come back.

“The country is beautiful with hospitable people and l also like the fact that the parks contribute a lot to the citizens living their vicinities.”

24% of the revenue gotten from the tourists taxes is shared with the community through building them schools with free education, medical facilities and also providing them with employment.
