Voting in Hoima Municipality in the NRM Primaries is on hold after it emerged that ballot papers had been tampered with.
The biggest fight is between ageing Public Service Minister Muganwa Kajura and former Makerere Economics Don Lawrence Bategeka.
Supporters of candidates in Hoima have since asked area District Police Commander only identified as Mr Akankwasa to explain why seals on parcels containing voting materials were removed on Monday night.
It is understood Kajura continues to face stiff resistance from the youthful Bategeka who insists the former is too old to appreciate the needs of the young people and foster development.
