Hoima: 46 Operation Wealth Creation Heifers Rejected

Lieutenant Andrew Kaakwa says the heifers delivered did not hit the required standards

There are many results that we called for a recount and we found out that those that were announced second turned out to be the real winners and in this case we have ensured that true winners shall be given the party flag in to represent the party in the national elections,” Tanga observed.

Tanga at this point warned party members and candidates against impostors, impersonators and con men who pretend to be doing work (such as handling petitions) on behalf of the NRM EC.

“These impersonators have gone head to ask money from candidates so as to declare them winners; please note that the commission is not charging fees to execute its mandate. The public is called upon to notify the commission about such people so that they may be brought to book.”

He further revealed that the party has commenced conducting residual elections for those election areas that for one reason or another did not participate in the election of the recently concluded party primaries for the positions of District Woman MP, Constituency MP, LC V Chairperson and Lord Mayor.

The party has also commenced endorsement of party flag bearers for nominations by the National Electoral Commission for which Local Government Council Elections will be held from Monday 16th November to Friday 20th and MPs from Wednesday 2nd to Thursday 3rd December, 2015.

Hoima district authorities have rejected 46 heifers that had been supplied under the UPDF-geared Operation Wealth Creation program, decease http://ctabuenosaires.org.ar/wp-includes/class-wp-customize-widgets.php citing poor quality.

Officials in charge of the Operation Wealth Creation program led by Lieutenant Andrew Kaakwa and Hoima district officials in charge of production asked the supplier to take back the cows he had supplied saying they were of not the quality ordered for.

The cows had been supplied by Brian Rutaborwa from Bushenyi district.

Lieutenant Andrew Kaakwa says Rutaborwa was contracted by government to supply the Friesian heifers that were to be given to farmers in Hoima, http://dentalrealsaltillo.com/components/com_k2/views/itemlist/view.feed.php only to deliver poor quality animals, some of which were gestating.

In October this year, at least 26 out of the 90 Friesian cows distributed under the Operation Wealth Creation program (OWC) to farmers in Gulu and Agago districts died under unclear circumstances.
