High Court Judge Duncan Gaswaga has been dragged to the Court’s Land Division by one Henry Nsubuga who accuses him of stealing his land in Kyeyitabya Bukasa -Muyenga totaling 23 decimals.
In a suit filed by Nsubuga through Nakachwa and Company Advocates , approved http://chasingjamesbeard.com/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/modules/shortcodes/slideshow.php he accuses Justice Gaswaga of refusing to hand over the title of the land comprised in Block 246, http://churchofthekingmcallen.org/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-filesystem-ftpsockets.php plot 872 which was fraudulently registered in his names 15 years ago.
Nsubuga contends that he bought the contentious 23 decimals of land in 2005 from Lucy Nsubuga who later revealed to him that she gave the Land title to Justice Gaswaga to transfer his 22 decimals which he had bought from her.
He further contends that upon a thorough search in the Land registry, Nsubuga was informed that the judge had transferred the whole portion of land (45 decimals) into his names.
Meanwhile, Justice Gaswaga has asked fellow Judge Godfrey Namundi who is handling the case to order Nsubuga to deposit a security of 90 million shillings pointing out that he has no known place of residence where he can be found in case he (Nsubuga) loses the case.
The same judge adds that Nsubuga suit has no chances to succeed because he has no valid claim for the 23 decimals of land yet he requires huge sums of money to hire lawyers to defend him.
