Meanwhile in Mpigi, http://cienciaaldia.com/cienciaaldia.com/wp-includes/class-wp.php High Court Judge David Batema has declined to dismiss an election petition against Mpigi District women MP Sarah Nakawunde who is accused of fraudulently obtaining her victory.
Justice Batema instead allowed the petitioner Teddy Nambooze more time within which to serve a copy of her petition to Nakawunde who has been dodging service for one month now.
Justice Batema ruled that there is evidence on court record showing that the petitioner Nambooze labored to notify Nakawunde of the said petition to the extent of going to her home in Lufuka zone in Mpigi and her parliamentary office but without success as the latter kept hiding.
The judge ordered that hearing of the petition to proceed on its merit on the 4th of June.
