The Minister was also shocked to hear that there is no even a single V.I.P latrine at Biguri health Center III to which the LC3 chairperson confessed: “The district has been promising to build a five stance pit latrine in vain.”
Tumwebaze promised to intervene to ensure the facility can acquire a three stance latrine in the next few weeks.
He was also informed that a health worker at Rwamwanja Health Centre III kicked a pregnant woman.
Hon Tumwebaze called up on the District leaders to convene a meeting with health workers to chart the way forward on their negative attitude to work.
